"The balcony room looking out lake Geneva is amazing. Make sure you take advantage of it during the sunset time. Hotel is right by the lake and there is a beautiful walking path along the lake right in front of it. Not impressed by the restaurant though. Overpriced for ordinary food."

"We had to have a discussion with the reservation staff to get a better room. We were assigned a first floor room over looking a parking lot. After some discussion and significant increase in room cost we were moved to a larger third floor room with a nice view of Lake Geneva. What is the point of staying at the Grand Hotel du Lac if you can’t see the lake from your room. The hotel had many large tour groups who swarm in and out fast. Our overall experience was very good it is a very elegant hotel with a very professional exceedingly friendly staff. Since it sits on the waterfront with easy access to lake front walking and many restaurants along the way."

"Amazing property! The staff here are excellent and the facility is great - including the spa and great breakfast. Excellent spa facility with multiple saunas and pools. "Lobby is fabulous. Rooms are basic. Mont Blanc balcony was obstructed by trees. Still nice. Beds too soft. Not comfortable for us at all. They need to be changed. All else was great. Close to bus and everything else !"

"Great property just steps from Lake Geneva. The room and hotel were beautiful and grand. The breakfast that was included had great variety and made for a stress free morning. Especially since you can sit on the terrace overlooking Lake Geneva. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The spa, gym, pools are modern and quite large. It's really nice the property has both an indoor and outdoor pools. Overall I would highly recommend this property."
