The hotel is great but I stayed during the month of September and everything was pretty much closed. This hotel is ideal for high season so you can enjoy all the amenities. My room was a suite and it was very outdated and needed of repairs. The housekeeping in the morning are very loud and don’t respect people that prefers to stay in bed late.

This hotel was perfect. I had planned to hike the tour de Mont Blanc but injured myself. The hotel is in a great location and you can easily walk to the main street in Chamonix or access trail heads close by. I definitely enjoyed the pool with its amazing views of the Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc. You get a Mountain View from every room in this hotel. I went in early September so the days were pretty warm, but the evenings were cool and you just could leave your windows open all day and night and it was comfortable. Everything was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was my first trip out of the United States and I found the entire area of Chamonix and surrounding areas, it was easy to communicate with others because everyone spoke English. There are so many great restaurants and cafés and pastry shops all in the area as well. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at La Folie Douce in Chamonix. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the town centre and with easy access to the slopes, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with great facilities and a lively atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They always went out of their way to assist with any questions or requests and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Now that we have stayed at this hotel in Chamonix we wouldnt go to another one and would highly recommend La Folie Douce to anyone visiting Chamonix.

Great hotel, great staff, beautiful rooms, incredible views and awesome vibes. Book it and enjoy!
