"Bonjour Tout d’abord l’hôtel situé à St Louis de France, très bien situé. Endroit paisible, calme. Un grand merci au resto pour le déjeuner. Permettez moi de signaler que vous avez présenté un déjeuner à votre hauteur. Tout était de mise, dans la nourriture, bon choix de pain, brioches etc.. Bon choix de fromages, bon choix de graines etc…. Continuez de cette belle continuité… C’est à refaire, Qu’on se le dise, c’est à nous de transmettre le message pour d’autres. Merci Susan Bellemare"

"Good hotel close to airport. Free airport shuttle every 30min - 5min drive. Clean rooms. Nice little pool and sauna. Restaurant downstairs under staffed on dinner service and a little slow but food is ok."

"Checkin was a disaster compounded by unnecessary surliness and incompetence. They demand a 24 hour pre check in online and I did that noting that I would stop by at 1 pm to drop bags and avail myself of their luggage storage option. I received an email back thanking me for pre-check in. I showed up at 3 pm and there was a family from Montreal also looking to check in early. The phone didn’t pick up then a random guy came and accosted us for being early and I explained I spelled it out in the pre check in. He said to give him 5 minutes. That turned into fifteen minutes and then some other guy showed up and accosted us again and shut the door and left us out on the street in the hot weather. I found his language to be rude and abrasive as did the Montreal family. Finally some hotel guests took pity on us and let us in and showed us where the luggage storage was and we went to get some water nearby (why that was so difficult for the hotel staff Ill never know). I don’t know why they bother with the pre-registration kabuki. Then my room didn’t have a frying pan but there was a whisk and a spatula. After three days I gave up asking. It’s unfortunate because it’s a nicely renovated old building in a convenient spot though it was interesting that they have a placard at the front desk advising guests not to argue with staff so somehow the surliness is built into the hospitality illusion they offer. It was like a surly Fawlty Towers Totally uncalled for. C’est dommage."
