"OLD and in need of renovations ASAP. Good mattress though, also good area, but the hotel was nothing like in the pictures. They had bathroom tiles and flooring and showers from the late 1800s, the toilet is literally next to the sink which is pretty gross, but staff was very friendly. "

" 3/5 Ok It was okay. Advertising,That you have a sauna and steam room to use is great way to trick people booking. But when you get there it’s only for paying treatments or day pass for 60 a person. So booking this for a birthday present for my daughter thinking she could have some nice amenities was a very big disappointed. Also considering the price I payed to stay there. I come to Boston often. I wouldn’t stay there again. "

"AC was perfect. Room was clean and picture perfect. Amenities were wonderful and plentiful. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and a general joy to interact with. Walkability and closeness to TD garden, Quincy Market, shopping and restaurants was amazing. Hotel has a beautiful bar and restaurant attached and the ability to do luggage consignment made it a no brainer. A place like this makes traveling and dealing with odd departure and arrival times of flights less stressful. One downside was that the ambient lighting in the hallways was a little dark for people not used to such low levels. The only other, was that the cabinet holding the mini fridge was very fragile and the door felt like it might fall off if touched wrong. Probably only an issue for that particular room, but younger children would have probably pulled the door off just by opening it. Otherwise, this was an amazing hotel and an amazing stay. Will be back to stay here the next time we travel to Boston to see games."

Built in 1680 after the Great Fire of 1676 destroyed a previous residence, this two-story townhouse was purchased by Paul Revere in 1770. He moved here with his wife, five children, and mother, but by the time he sold the house in 1800 he was on his second wife and had fathered a total of 16 children!

The house is typical of early Massachusetts Bay timber construction, and it's Boston's only surviving 17th-century dwelling. The house is L-shaped with the kitchen in the back, and it is likely that Revere passed through the kitchen door to begin his famous midnight ride on April 18, 1775.

To save the building from demolition, Revere's great-grandson purchased it in 1902 and restored it to it's early eighteenth-century appearance. Despite the years, ninety percent of the structure is believed to be original timber.

Today the house is operated as a small non-profit museum with an entrance fee of $3.50.
