"Lovely B&B for an overnight. Stayed in room 7 bed very comfortable, lovely clean bathroom modern and spotless, tea making facilities good only down side was the roller blind was not blackout and there were no curtains so it was very light very early. Kitchen next door had plenty of crockery, glasses and pots should you wish to make yourself a meal. Breakfast selection good although no brown bread only white. Good selection of teas and coffees and plenty of yoghurt etc in the fridge for you to help yourself too. All in all a fantastic night and worth every penny. Thanks Anna x"

"Room was clean but small. Mirror in bathroom and none in room, no rail to hold onto to get put of bath, tv on side wall instead of wall facing bed and kettle under tv where steam will reach it. The room was comlact but clean and couldnt fault any staff who were kind and helpful. "

"This is an old coaching inn so no lifts and a lot of stairs to get to the rooms. Our requested twin room wasn't available but we were given the one bedroom apartment and another room instead. This was fine as we could cook instead of going to restaurants. The proprietors had also given us some supplies such as eggs, bacon, milk tec, which was very generous. The bar downstairs was more of a young person's place but I didn't hear much of the music at night. Parking was in the Argos car park nearby. The area was off the main street, built up and a bit run down. However, much of Montrose centre seemed a bit neglected. The check-in had to be arranged beforehand but it worked out ok, with a young man there to let us in. The hotel seems to be getting upgraded bit by bit and the apartment was large with a good kitchen and a double bedroom."

"Staff on the desk great however room very dated only 1 pillow hotel facility nice shower poor room cold and we eat at the restaurant and since eating there have felt very unwell "
