"This property is a scam. We booked and paid for 3 rooms thru Expedia. When we arrived they only have one room for our reservation. They want to push us to stay at their other property. Their other property is dirty and small. We flew thousands of miles to experience a homestay in the beautiful Sapa rice fields. Being weekend all the nice home stays were all booked. We had to hire a taxi to take back into town to find a decent hotel. I have never give any hotel a bad review. I don’t want anyone...

"I arrived early in the morning off of the sleeper train from Hanoi. They let me drop my bags in one of the shared areas of the property and then let me check into my room early. My room was great, it was the perfect size with a great view of the mountains. The shower was nice and hot…perfect for coming home from the cold rainy weather. 4/10 Poor

"Nice views and that’s about it. Poor breakfast buffet and staff could not manage demand well. Cleanliness was poor, refillable glass bottles for drinking water were not washed and microbial growth could be see below lids. Shower curtains has mildew and mold on them. Washroom exhaust fan was disgusting and not cleaned. Tub drain leaked all over floor. So much potential but poor management and lack of staff training evident. "

"Gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous location. The food at Olivia and the main restaurant was fresh and delicious, and the spa is beautiful with top-notch treatments. More than anything, the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel, and it is especially wonderful after trekking."
