"Arrived after midnight, so straight to bed. The room was clean, but very warm, so had to turn the temperature down. Went down for breakfast, but as the plates were cold, the hot food quickly went cold, so didn't finish. All the staff are pleasant and friendly. "

"Room was good for the non-budget price and comfort more than ample for the days I stayed. Swimming pool and facilities overall excellent, very friendly and good atmosphere. Didn't take breakfast - in too much of a hurry each morning. Did use the Bistro within the hotel (but run independently) and that was good value. All staff very committed and friendly apart from the one who checked me out. Parking isn't ideal but expected for the location. Overall a very good hotel and will definitely stay again."

"The hotel is very dated and not as well maintained as the photos look. Furniture along the halls on the 3rd floor that were oddly placed. We paid £80 in addition to the stay, for the spa (price for a couple) and it was not worth it, it felt overbooked so had to wait to move between the facilities, floor tiles moved around the jacuzzi, food in the spa wasn’t great. We got to our hotel room at 9:30 after the twilight spa to find the electricity wasn’t working, we had to wait in the dark for someone to come and fix the fuse. Treadmill screen broke in the gym so was unable to track workout. Golf course looked amazing but unfortunately we were not there for a golf trip. Overall disappointed for the price we paid and would not recommend or be returning."

"Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible. No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged. Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site. Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. I have >£2 of charges which isn’t a lot of money in the big picture, but not something hotel guests should ever have to pay, especially when I hung up right away It was the local number I found that no one ever picked up. Bad."
