Room was clean comfortable and quiet. I slept well. There room was very small with no desk. The water was cold in the morning so I couldn't have a shower
Stayed for two days, pleasant hotel, old with character. not too expensive. Enjoyable stay but in the hot weather air conditioning would have been nice.
Overall, good experience, and I've already booked another stay.

Good location
Good location right in the town centre good value for money
Came for a family funeral, but have stayed here before, it’s convenient for town centre shopping.
Parking is a little frustrating as you have to park in Asda car park, so depending on what time you check in it can be a little busy, but really nice rooms, and breakfast was good.
Nice hotel in a good location. The main areas of the hotel are good except the corridors and staircases leading to the rooms which are tired and dated. The room itself was a good size with a really nice bed. The only negative regarding the room was the movement sensor light in the bathroom. I personally don’t see that this is needed. If someone went to the toilet in the night the sensor would turn on the very bright light which stayed on for around 5 minutes afterwards.
Lovely old hotel nice and quiet very clean, bedrooms beautiful hotel under renovation, staff go up and beyond to help you , very peaceful place to stay
