"What did I think about my stay at Sheridan’s? What stay? Booed this with Expedia on 21st feb It just happened that the day we booked to stay was grand national day, coincidence that they couldn’t find our booking, yes because they’d charged 3 times more for someone else to have the room with the grand national going on.. Staff couldn’t care less and even when we showed them proof of the booking they just didn’t want to know. Leaving us with nowhere to stay."

"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "
