"Beautiful hotel. Clearly a labour of love and wonderful to stay in a building with local history. Quiet and peaceful despite being in the town centre. Lots of great food and drink options nearby. "
"Great easy stay, lovely staff, lovely dinner and good breakfast. Shower pressure not great in the panelled room but otherwise a good stay. Nice 8 km local walk nearby ."
" Very convenient for walking into Sheringham and connecting with North Norfolk amenities by train or bus, easy to get to the beach or stroll through the town"

"We had a lovely double room at the front of the hotel that was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had a very good shower. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows provided if we needed them. Our evening meal was delicious and excellently cooked. Breakfast was also really good in fact one of the best breakfasts i have had in a hotel for a long time. I had the Greek yoghurt with granola and fruit and honey which had lots of lovely fresh fruit in and my partner had the cooked breakfast, both were generous portions. It is a very old building and could do with a bit of a makeover in places but it was a busy hotel and seemed popular with the locals and the staff were wonderful, very attentive, polite and happy to help."
"Stayed in room 17 of the Lawns annexe, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room was large, quiet with superking bed and nice walkin shower. Parking on site. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea always a nice touch
Would have been handy to offer an umbrella in room as walk to hotel in rain not ideal Would certainly return"
