"This elegant historical hotel was a great choice in Rotorua. We especially enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent dinner at Duke’s Restaurant, and the wonderful hot pools on site. With such great, private pools, you really don’t have to pay for others. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed walking the nearby

boardwalk and gardens. Free parking is offered but can be a bit hard to secure during the day. But by evening, there was ample to choose from."

"The property feels like a private home when you’re in the garden. We watched the sunset and played around in the garden and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It has a guest lounge with games and it feels like you could just hang out there for a week and enjoy yourself. We only had 2 nights but made ourselves right at home thanks to the hospitality of Rowena and her associate. Definitely stay at Black Swan!"
