The staff were most welcoming, helpful, and cheerful. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Beautiful grounds overlooking the lake. Comfortable room with outside table and chairs. (We did not use the gas freplace in the room.)

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and incredibly relaxing, making it easy to feel at home straight away.
What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptional service - especially from Star, the duty manager. Star went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, greeting us warmly, showing us around, and handling everything with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. It’s rare to encounter someone who leads with such attentiveness and pride, and it made a huge difference to our stay.
The entire team clearly reflects Star’s high standards, and it shows in every interaction. We felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after throughout our visit.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality. A big thank you to Star and the whole team for making our stay memorable.
