"Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite."

"This place is like one out of a fairytale. Most spacious! The property owner cooked amazing l meals and brought them to the room herself! They are wonderful people to meet! "On our way to the hotel the day before our flight back to Canada our rental car broke down on the motor way. My wife was eventually dropped off at the hotel reception area with all our luggage while I had to finalize the return of the car. During my absence all of the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive We later dined in the restaurant, the dinner was excellent and the supervisor was most attentive."
