"There were bugs in the bathroom. I killed and flushed them most of the night. I wasn't able to sleep because of this.
The ceiling and wall in the bathroom had been spackled and not finished.
The furniture set up was not conducive to more than one occupant.
The toilet flushed fine and the air conditioning worked well.
My husband and I checked out early and cancelled our additional night's stay due to the insects.
I would not recommend the Scottish Inn Ronks, PA. "
"Nice, comfortable place to stay with nice staff. Plus, they’re very honest because I left my iPhone charger in cord and came back next day and they had collected it for me and returned it."

Amish farmlands stretch across rolling hills where horse-drawn buggies share roads with modern cars. Visit the authentic Amish Village to learn about their way of life, then explore Kitchen Kettle Village's homemade jams and quilts.
Tons of places to go and see the Amish life. Tons of restaurants from chains to family owned diners. Shopping areas are excellent. Tons of activities like farmers markets and roadside places to visit!

Nice to be a little more in the country area rather than in Lancaster itself. Main roads in the area have so many things to see and do whether you have children with you or not. Very easy to access roads to the south where there are more Amish farms.

Enjoyed doing lots of Amish stuff including eating and attractions. Love theaters in the area too.
"You actually stay in rehabbed caboose cars! Kitschy and Cool. We actually stayed in the family car (the only 1 available when I booked) - but we made it work - hubby was sweet and slept in 1 of the 4 bunk beds in the back, leaving me the full-sized bed. Free WiFi available. Restaurant was good serving comfort and local specials. We took a local Amish Tour special (small bus tour; movie and tour of a. Look-a-like home and school (one room). Guides were good and we learned more about the Amish. Good recommendations for local eateries. Quilt shopping a must for me!!! Many places to go and look/shoo/buy - just googled! Drove behind buggies and took a buggy ride too! There’s both a model train museum Very close and the PA train museum is also close-by. Loads of places to purchase crafts and local produce. A really fun and informative trip. "
"The front desk clerk was very pleasant and let us checked in early, this give us enough time to make it to see Noah play. The area it is very convenient, many stores and the Sight and Sound theater only 5 miles"
"We liked our stay very much. We were not expecting such a beautiful suite!
Was not crazy about the pool. It was small and there was no just adult times. When my husband and I wanted to swim it was just too crowded. But swimming was not why we came so it certainly did not effect negatively our stay."
