Great little place not far from so many attractions. Trevi fountian piazza navano spanish steps pantheon all easily walkable and ahort taxis to coliseum il vittorriano the roman forum ruins palpatine hill. There is literally food everywhere and a castle lokcs away right close to the vatican as well.

Home from home in Roma

Great location and the view from the terrace is fantastic. Fridge and hob worked with air co in both rooms two showers Would stay here again no problem Had to adjust dates close to arrival day and hotel allowed me to do that without penalty I used it for my base while attending Ryder Cup and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Rome

Property is a great affordable option to stay in the heart of Rome. It was very clean and the rooftop terrace was beautiful! Wifi was a little bit dodgy in the room and the building the hotel is in could use a reno particularly around the lift.

Nice neighborhood full of restaurants and shopping but far from transportation, difficult to reach. They send me a code for entering to the room because we arrived late, we did the check in and out next day in a different location, it was confusing

The room was clean, fresh towels daily and bed made. Nice roof terrace. However, there was no window in our room, which was not mentioned in the advertisement and no iron. The area is great, close to metro, taxis, most attractions are within a 30 min walking distance and/or cheap scooter ride.

Great for solo!

I was here for only one night! Check in was quick! Even though the lobby was away from my actual room; it was just one block difference and it was fine. The only bad thing was that even though this was a no smoking hotel the people before me smoked THE HELL out of my room 😭😭 This isn’t the hotels fault though but omg I was struggling (I’m not a smoker nor like the smell) but everyone was so helpful and nice. Also the terrace was BEAUTIFUL.

Outstanding view from the upper deck but...

The upstairs decks have an outstanding view over the rooftops of Rome and the location is perfect for sightseeing the major spots. However, it just isn't that comfortable of a place. Our room was an attic conversion and even though it was a large space, about 2/3 of it is not usable because the ceiling height is so low. There aren't any windows, just 2 small skylights in the ceiling. The stairs are steep getting up to the room and the last few steps are up a treacherous circular staircase. The bathroom is awkward. The price seemed very high but it was on the lower end of prices in Rome so it just may be that Rome hotels are very expensive. We loved watching the sun rise each morning and the sun set each evening. That alone kept this from being lower rated. But overall, it just wasn't that comfortable of a stay.

Not worth the price

The building where the rooms are located is not clean. The rooms are somewhat cleaners. The main problem is with the bathroom. It was the smallest shower area you could imagine. It was like taking shower in a coffin. you could not bend down in the shower area. The other problem is the check in is located in a different location. It is very inconvenient to walk up the hill to that location with your luggage and then come back to the building where rooms are located. Similarly, checkout you have to be in the other building. The window was basically at the roof, you can't look out. anyway, the window faces a house and a narrow street, so nothing to expect for a view. I am very disappointed for the price I paid to have lived in this hotel.

Area was good. Place was not the cleanest and had a smell. Building was run down. The real kicker was the awful staff. During our stay, our cleaning lady left the door of our apartment/room wide open for God knows how long while cleaning and when we retuned we waiting an additional 30 minutes to see if she planned on returning. She never returned and we also found that the room had no been properly replenish with toiletries including toilet paper. When we confronted the front desk staff, they called the cleaning lady and spoke Italian. After the call, which he had in front of us, he informed me “I told her that she needs to be careful and it won’t happen again in the future”, not knowing that I spoke Italian and responded that he did not say any of that. An older man next to him interjected “what do you want me to do? Kill her? There’s nothing I can do. If you’re missing something let me know and I’ll just claim my insurance.” They did not have any empathy, and were flat out rude. Not even offering the smallest amount of compensation given the fact that our valuables were left exposed for potentially hours. Awful service

Pros: The location is nice. The property feels secure, and the room felt clean enough (though the extra pillow found in the closet had a large red blood colored stain on it). The staff, once spoken to in person, was beyond nice and kind. The rooftop decks (plural—there are 3) are incredible and have some of the best views of Rome. The AC is amazing as is the boiler. We never felt hot in the room nor did we run out of hot water. Cons: We never had internet our entire stay. We also couldn’t get a cell signal. The TV didn’t work properly and all the stations had stripes on them so just volume. This was problematic with kids. We had a room that was inaccessible with an elevator. I was carrying 5 bags for myself and my 2 daughters alone down and up slippery stairs. Communication before was so confusing! There is a city tax to pay in cash and it was more than less than more. Reception closed before we arrived and was 5 min walk on cobblestones from our apartment (again bags and kids), so we had to rush back the next morning and cut a tour at The Vatican short to give money and Passports to them. Except—I left money in an envelope and sent scanned passports, so I was not told I didnt have to be there by 10am and this rushed for nothing. It is VERY noisy in the building bc of echoes. We had a sound machine and my kids woke up to slamming doors and people on the stairs all the same, The top roof terrace is scary w kids.

Location was great, walkable to many things in Rome. Room was clean and functional. Rooftop Terrace was a highlight watching the sunset over the city. The fridge left a bit to be desired. Communication could be improved as I only got directions on how to check in while travelling. Key locks could be updated

Ett hotell med de nödvändigehter du kan tänka dig behöva. Rummet var svalt och mörkt med en bekväm säng. Dushen tillhörande toan påminde om något från 2010 men var rent, helt och fungerande. Det var något lyhört från grannarna och det var svårt att ha en bra mejlkontakt med hotellet.
