We had a wonderful stay at Porta Castello Suites! The location was perfect - close to everything. The room was clean, bathroom was spacious, and the AC worked great. The staff was very helpful (usually by email/Whatsapp). The breakfast croissant and coffee was perfect for us.

Great communication with reception regarding check in. Front desk is only open until 1:00 pm or so, but instructions given made things so easy, and room was ready for us when we arrived at 10:00 pm. Room was very neat and tidy; and lady at the front desk was a complete pleasure to talk with; and made sure we were well taken care of. Complimentary croissants were an added bonus. Highly recommended.

This property is located near Vatican City and lots of neighborhood restaurants. The morning pastries was a nice touch. The room was extremely small and lacked some amenities (the refrigerator was super super small). It did advertise laundry there was not laundry, when we got there they said there was a paid laundry mat down the block. Staff was limited only in the morning. Location was the best part of the stay!

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The croissants that they had out every morning was actually pretty good, I grabbed one every morning. The property was easily walkable to the Vatican. There was a cafe on the corner that we stopped in a couple times a day for a cappuccino and there is a Gelato place on the opposite corner of the cafe that I am still dreaming about! We would gladly stay here again if we ever come back to Rome.

We only stayed one night, but the room was beautiful. Beds were comfortable and there were even 2 sinks in the bathroom! It was close to the Vatican, and close to the Castel Sant Angelo. I would definitely stay there again.

Great home with a perfect view from ever room. The location was very convenient and walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. The small cafe/market downstairs was also great and convenient. Breakfast was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again!
