The staff were great! The hotel has half floors which the elevator doesn’t stop at so be prepared to carry heavy suitcases . We had some sickness and had to extend our stay; the same room increased dramatically in price because the hotel was sold out .

The room was extremely clean and had a bar fridge which was nice for storing beverages and perishable snacks. Conveniently located in the heart of Venice. No elevator, but hotel operator helped us transfer our luggage to our room and also stored our luggage on our last day after check-out so we could do more sightseeing before we left.

A great hotel in a great area. Staff friendly, helpful, very good English spoken. Room very nice. Unserviced while you stay, but we're all civilised adults, arent we? It is secure. The roof-top terrace was great. Lots of drinking and dining options just a few minutes away. Great local feel. There's a bar nearby, can't remember the name - cross the road, turn right, turn left at the cafe on the corner (and don't even think about stopping there, its very poor value), walk 20 yards, and you're there. Cosy, great value, our favourite spot. We had a great time, and having the right hotel in the right area makes all the difference.
