We only needed an overnight there prior to returning to FCO. The staff was friendly checking in. A/C worked, room was clean, But there was an outlet on the wall that wasn't well attached. The bathroom is where they have an issue. The toilet clogged tp roll was almost 1/3, shower door did ot seal correctly ao water was all over the floor. Shower also has issues with shower control utton and mildew on walls and soap dispensers

The room was very run down, bathroom was horrible, very dirty, mouldy shower and very little to no hot water, advised front desk and was told it would be looked into but it was not. Quarto limpo, cama boa, atendimento inicial muito bom. Barulhento mas por uma noite estava ok. Pegamos o transfer ate o aeroporto e foi preço justo e pontual. Next to the Rome Terminal and nice people running the hotel. But please know that it is in a really bad area. Rooms are super small and beds are very uncomfortable. My bed smelled like food. We didn't sleep all night.

While the room was clean and the staff was friendly, the walls were thin, making it possible to hear TV noise from adjacent rooms. The room included an empty mini-fridge. After three weeks of exploring Italy, we stayed at Hotel Academy for our final night because of its convenient location — just about 10 minutes from the airport. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, which made it an easy and comfortable stop before our flight home. The hotel is located in an older building that appears to have undergone remodeling. While it served its purpose well, it could have been cleaner, and the rooms would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Our basic room didn’t include a smart TV, which might be a downside for longer stays, but for a quick overnight visit, it was fine. We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but overall, Hotel Academy was a convenient and practical choice for a short stay near the airport.
