The Monastero hotel was Clean and unique being right up against the Roman Forum! The interior design & furnishings were modern and well appointed. The location is excellent right next to the Roman Forum and the Victor Emanuel memorial with 5 restaurants right next door to enjoy dinner after a day of exploring Rome! The staff is welcoming and friendly! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

The hotel itself was very clean, staff were very friendly, and it is a great location. Unfortunately there was an event in the courtyard and although people cleared out by 11:30pm, staff were cleaning until 1:30am and it was very loud (could not sleep).

Beautiful open concept entrance. Old building concient location. Rooms are a bit small, but worked for us. There is not elevator for those who may struggle with luggage, but they offered to help. The front desk was supper friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

The hotel was in a great location for visiting Rome. Staff were helpful, I was treated to a birthday surprise from them during my stay which was very kind. There wasn't a food option on site but plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby

We had the most amazing stay here! The property itself is incredible, with a beautiful courtyard and the area immediately surrounding it. The staff are also always available and incredibly kind and helpful. It made the stay in Rome even more wonderful. We had to book this hotel last minute due to Flight delays and missed connections. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. the Hotel is in a very convenient location in Rome for walking to attractions. We did not get to experience that as we only stayed for a few hours to rest up before the next leg of our journey. We would definitely stay here again.

We felt the location was perfect for so many things. The hotel is small but quaint. There was a vintage market in the courtyard the weekend we were there. Great local artists! Easy walk to the Colosseum and many other attractions. The staff was very helpful. Ludo at the front desk was extremely helpful arranging a ride even when flights were delayed for hours she stayed on top of our driver. We would stay here again!

We were so impressed by this hotel and their staff on our honeymoon in Rome. They honestly set the bar for every other place we stayed at. Super friendly, very helpful and accommodating. They even were so kind to offer us a few bottles of water after checking out. It's located in a perfect spot to see countless incredible sights, cafes, restaurants. The courtyard was lovely and private to have a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. It's the perfect location to be close to everything while still away from the busy tourist crowds. Can't wait to come back.

This was a last minute booking for us as we were flying standby to Rome. The staff were lovely and made us an espresso while we waited to check in. It was easy check in and out, and they graciously stored our bags when we needed it. The room was overall a 9/10–our shower unfortunately leaked pretty badly which left a big puddle after every shower. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The hotel is located within walking distance to the coliseum and we could access public transit easily. It is also walking distance to Trastevere—a neighbourhood with excellent restaurants. We were only in Rome for one night, and the hotel was a perfectly reasonably priced option for our purposes. There is also a beautiful courtyard you can utilize, although we didn’t get the opportunity, unfortunately.

I loved the unique location facing the Circos Maximus and the Palatine behind. It's also hidden from the street in a courtyard where you are free from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful location and attentive staff.
