"Solo night stay for hiking Mt Rokko and enjoy private onsen. Absolutely 5 star hotel, I booked the penthouse and could not ask for a more perfect mental reset in peace and tranquility. "

"Enjoyed a good night stay… bed was comfortable and room size is just right for a couple to stay. Location is the plus point, right at the heart of Sonnomiya station so super convenient to go anywhere via train. Will definitely consider this hotel if we come to Kobe again."

"This was my first time in Arima and my first time staying at a ryokan. I stayed for one night and immediately wished I had booked an extra night. I was in Arima for two nights total and wanted to compare two different ryokans to experience the differences. Takayamaso Hanano was an excellent stay that I will remember fondly. I paid for a room with a silver bath and a full board dinner. The ryokan dinner was unforgettable, and the staff were very friendly despite the language barrier I had as a...

"Courteous staff member able to check us in very late after a concert which was very nice. Very spacious room with lots of activities if needed, a shame we only went there to rest our heads in Kobe! Place seems like a blast!"
"This was possibly THE BEST hotel experience we have ever had. I visoted with my Dad and we decided just to have one night in Kobe. Because of this hotel, we wished it was more. The lady at the reception desk was lovely and even though she wasn't able to speak English fluently, she was extremely patient, kind and explained as much as she could using her translation device. The hotel and the room smelled amazing and looked beautiful, we had complementary drinks in the foyer, breakfast was included for us and was brought to the room. It was just stunning, we have never had such a beautiful room. The room had everything we could have needed and more and it was less than a 10 min walk to the train station. We walked to the hotel at 11:30pm and didn't feel in danger at all.
Thank you so much for such a lovely experience"
"The building itself is well structured, interior is a bit dated like still in 90’. The bed is really bunk bed shows its age. I have a button bed next to wall which is not much space for my belongings to store. I guess this is more for backpacker without luggage no elevator is something you need to be aware of. No washroom in the room floor is an experience have to keep in mind don’t drink water before bed. "
