"We stayed in the Sandpiper Lodge behind Lake Yellowstone hotel, which is an older hotel. Rooms were large and clean, the bed comfortable. We enjoyed access to the hotel, including the lounge with evening music. The staff was very helpful and tried their best. Unfortunately, they were seriously understaffed, which resulted in errors in cleaning; moreover, the restaurant was struggling with supply issues (they ran out of so many items at dinner and breakfast over our 4 day stay...) and seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests.
One consideration, which can be a plus or a minus - there is no Wifi and phone reception is weak."
