"This was an absolutely unexpected yet incredible stay. I was very worried as we booked only a few days before our stay with no idea what this place was like. We were extremely surprised we had never heard about the YMCA of the Rockies before. It was extremely worth the price, I would have been willing to pay more honestly. The amenities were great. They were very accommodating to my needs as I am a breastfeeding/pumping mother and provided a refrigerator. It was just my husband and I one for night as we were passing through but we will absolutely come back with our daughters as they get older. This place is incredible."
"Spacious, stylish, and clean rooms. Very comfortable beds and all you will need to feel like at home.
A breakfast surprised us with a variety of food.
The staff was very polite and helpful."
"I visited Banff for 2 days and delayed here for the duration. It is about 15 minutes away from Banff downtown, which is convenient. It is just 5 minutes from Canmore downtown, even better.
The property is nice, it's clean and well laid out. The reception staff is polite & helpful. They assisted us with anything that we needed.
The chalet is wonderful, it's cozy, clean, well equipped with a small but full kitchen. The bathroom, though small, is sufficient. The room has heating & cable TV. The property also makes a bonfire for you right outside the chalet, which is great extra.
It is expensive (we went in peak summer season) but still much cheaper than the hotels in Banff.
All in all, it was a good, comfortable stay."
"The hotel is nice. Perhaps a little tired in places e.g. door handles with missing screws. The most disappointing thing was that, despite asking for a quiet room, we were on the road side above the restaurant. Was noisy at night as not very sound proofed against the noise of traffic. The location is okay, but quite far down the Main Street."
"We had a great time during our stay room was clean, staff was friendly and extremely helpful, hot tub was amazing with the propane fire pit as a cherry on top! Mountain view is the way to go!! Thank you for an amazing stay and look forward to staying with you guys again in the future!! You guys rock Mr & Mrs that got married on Sept 3!!"
"Hotel was overall nice but cleanliness could improve. Found hair in the sheets and some crumbs on the carpet. The door handle was a little sticky. The room door was not very soundproof you can hear people closing doors early in the morning. Parking was easy and amenities are nice."
"The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t have a sheet on the bed—just a down comforter. That is way too hot for me so I had to go with no covers. We loved everything else"
