"The beds were comfortable! The room looked worn we were disappointed with the housekeeper Tahiti! She did not fill our towels, did not give new soap, she did not wipe the counters. It just looked like she only made the b d! I called the front desk and complained. She said she would tell the management. I never heard anything back from the management at all."

"The kind and friendly staff welcomed us after a long drive including some flooded roads. There was also flooding in some parts of Manteo and the hotel parking lot due to unprecedented amounts of rain in previous days. I’m sure they had concerns of their own regarding the flooding, but they answered every question and made sure we had what we needed. Our rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The car charging stations were working well. I can also recommend the food and service at the restaurant onsite, Fire Tender. "
