"We had a mixed experience at Grand Palladium (Family Selection). First the good things: 1) Kids club. Friendly staff, great amenities, day programming and evening shows. My kids loved it 2) Amenities. Good mix of beach, quiet pool, general pool with slides/waterfalls and Family selection exclusive pool 3) Food safety. All food was prepared well and we never had any stomach issues Now the bad things: 1) Food taste. The taste was more miss than hit, especially at Family Selection (Nest) which was supposed to be the premium offering 2) Gym. Old, stuffy, small. 3) Cleanliness. Pool chairs were dirty most of the time. 4) Construction. There is a large construction site adjacent to Family Selection creating a lot of noise and dust, making it hard to relax by the pool during the day"

"The hotel hit all the marks for what our family was wanting. Its a neat layout, the staff were all so friendly! For us we've been to PV alot.. so we knew it was okay we weren’t on the beach, the shuttle was fast and we didnt have to wait much, once down at the beach the food and drinks along with the service were awesome! The buffet food was so so but thata resort food, we never went hungry the chicken and beef fajitas were my fav, along with the japanese fancy dinner! This hotel was like no other a real neat jungle experience. Having our rooms beautifully cleaned when we came back from being in the sun all day was the highlight alonf with the icecrean machine and the late check out they offered. Only thing I'd change which wasnt horrible at first... was the music.. maybe have a longer rotation of music and with so many pools offer a different day in each area, like some spanish music. We come to mexico for the spicy culture. Thanks for the fun family trip "

"Been to Mexico at least a dozen times in the past 6 years. The staff, the location, the cleanliness, were top notch. If you’re looking to be half a block from all Sayulita has to offer this is the spot. It’s right in the thick of all the Mexican shenanigans. Highly recommend. "

"Our room was facing the street, no balcony. It is a very quiet area. The pool has a warm temperature. The staff were wonderful people. There is a supermarket but you need to take a taxi 70 pesos or a bus 12 pesos. Downton is a 15 minutes walk, lots of restaurants. Lots of stores like 7/11 called Oxxo close to the hotel. There's a small mall across the street with some restaurants. If you want to go to Puerto Vallarta you can take the bus is about 30 minutes drive 24 pesos or you can go to Sayulita which is 20 minutes drive for about the same price. "
