Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"Staff ard location were amazing but the property is extremely outdated and the food overall was below average. Small buffet with the exact same items for breakfast lunch and dinner. Long waits for sit down restaurants but food was a little better. We likely would not stay at this property again but would stay in the area. "

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"We loved the resort. It looked like it had recently remodeled. All the furniture and decor in the buffets and restaurants looked new. The food was amazing! The outdoor sunset bar area was huge and a great way to relax before air after dinner. So many options for drinks, ice cream, coffees! The room was clean and well appointed. It looked modern and fresh, guessing also a recent remodel. Not the biggest fan of the energy saving motion sensing lights in the bathroom. My daughter was in the tub and out of the range of the sensor so she was tasked with getting out in pitch black. Also, having the lights turn on full force when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is quite a wake up call. That being said, the lights were our only criticism of our visit to Grand Sirenis. There were plenty of shuttles to take you places on the resort if you want, but you can easily get your 10,000 steps (and then some) if you love to walk like we did. There are lots of steps, so I would be hesitant to bring my very much less mobile in-law; however, if you are savvy finding elevators and using the shuttle, I think we could find solutions. Lots of pools - quiet if you like quiet, energetic if you prefer that. Lots of seats around the pools and beach. We didn't visit the beach as much as planned because of the sargassum. I think it must be a losing effort at this point of the season so except for some pushing around, it wasn't really being removed except by the member beach club. "

"Myself, my husband and our two boys just finished a two week stay here and it was fabulous! The food was great and so much variety to choose from. The Italian food at Portofino was probably our fav. The butlers in our villa - Erick, Max and Kiyoshi - were spectacular and made sure we were always well taken care of. The only downside was the massive amount of seaweed on the beach, which is always a risk this time of year but it meant we didnt spend anytime in the ocean.
The property was ful.of wildlife too which we enjoyed. The coati are very naughty and brazen and were always trying to steal food out of peoples bags or off of empty tables at the buffet. They are too cute to be mad at though."

"Our room smelled of mildew and the guy tried to gaslight us and insist it was just the room spray. Meanwhile my 4 year daughter is gagging and covering her nose. They did end up moving us into a different room which was good. The staff were mixed— some great and some seemed put out that they had to interact with us. Food was mixed. Lots of additional expenses. Ex 15$usd for a coconut! The facility was super impressive. Kids 3 and 4 loved the play rooms."

"We never went to a elacart due people can book online prior to getting to hotel so people who never been there have no chance to go to a meal, no people around the pools asking for drink orders ,having to pay to see some of the shows is not all inclusive resort, the prices at the gift shop are very high also, having one room key is inconvenient "
