"Charming room, completely updated hotel, wonderful staff. They answered all of our questions prior to the stay via texts. They were also very welcoming and warm when we arrived. It is a great location, right near the Capitol and all of the museums. They have a nice lounge. No breakfast but they did have coffee, snacks, and recommendations for nearby restaurants. It’s one of a kind. We also loved that everything they feature in the room (snacks, drinks, even the robes) is from a local NC business. A total palate-cleanser from the usual boring corporate hotel chains. "

"The hotel was close to all event I was attending. The in house restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times and they kept fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby!!!! "

"I didnt spend much time at the hotel, but the room was very clean, and the bed and bedding were super comfortable. The room temp was comfortable despite the winter storm situation, and breakfast bar had both hot and cold options. Not gourmet, but fresh make-it-yourself waffles, and eggs and sausage. There was no herbal tea in the tea selectiom. But plenty of juices. The stay was good! Odd things: The TV didnt face the bed or the couch and the windows only had light filtering sheers, but no blackout or privacy curtain over it. Room was on 2nd floor, so no real issue with peeping in and there was no sun during my visit. So these items were not a big deal. "
