Our room was super clean and comfortable and the staff went the extra mile to make my partner and I’s first anniversary extra special! Location is super close to all the best parts of York. "We loved our stay here! Everywhere was spotless, the room was cozy and the bed comfortable. I loved the pool, and was pleased there was a sauna in the room and that the pool had an in-built jacuzzi. Reception was nice and there were lots of local goodies on sale for a reasonable price. All the staff we encountered were really pleasant, friendly and helpful. There was a good range of decent meals in the bar lounge, the pizzas were exceptional! I was somewhat disappointed with breakfast, the hot food was overdone and tough. The fried eggs were solid, and the scrambled weren't very nice. However, there were plenty of other foods to choose from. The bread for the toast was lovely. We will most definitely go there again, we fully recommend it!"
