"Nice, clean hotel for the Amsterdam area. It's right on the bus line going both ways to and from Schiphol Airport (don't take the train or you'll end up at Hoofdorp Station and have to take the bus back to De Hoek anyway. Breakfast was good, not great. Room was good, too. The biggest downside to this hotel is that it really isn't close to anything other than a McDonald's (meh). You have to get back on the bus for shops, restaurants, or a grocery store. Other than that, it's good."

"We've stayed at the Corendon several times as we layover when traveling to Europe from Oregon. The hotel is good. Things are more expensive in Amsterdam and city/regional taxes are high. While some staff are very helpful others have been rather indifferent regarding guests checking in or needing assistance at the front desk."

"Room was clean and bed comfortable. Guests need to be aware that the bed is up against the window one side so someone has to climb over. Shower and toilet areas are circular and all glass which some might not like. The toilet glass walls are NOT clear, but the shower is however there is a curtain you can close across the room. You can have fun changing the room lighting colours...after all you are in Amsterdam. Checkin and checkout staff on hand to assist guests if they require it and all very friendly. The control pad in our room seemed a little slow compared to previous visits (this was our 3rd). Excellent location being a few minutes walk from Door A at the airport terminal. There is a covered walkway BUT it isn't that wide if windy and raining plus there are 3 sections where you are not covered when crossing tiny exit roads. We have never encountered traffic so nothing to worry about unless its very heavy rain. Bar is popular and has a good buzz. Lots of seating areas although one of the sofa's near the TV area was starting to look tired and in need of a little maintenance, but nothing that bad to put you off."
