"Put down a deposit with the understanding that the deposit would be back in my account within 24 hours. Messaged them several times and I have not gotten any response nor have I gotten my money back and it has been days now with no response. "There was a drip coming under the bathroom sink that seemed pretty minor but by morning it had soaked all new folded towels on the shelf under the sink and flooded onto the bathroom floor. I went to tell the front desk because there's no phone number to call on the non working phone on the hotel room but the line was 75 people deep due to a national dance competition in town. However, later in the morning we ran into our sweet housekeeper that had seen the issue and she let us know that she contacted the engineer dept. The following day the drip leak was gone. Unfortunately, two days later it was back again. I think maybe you need to really fix the pipe in the bathroom or room #4006. Everything else we experienced was wonderful! We loved this hotel. It was Soo convenient to musicals and restaurants and tourist activities. We will definitely book here again in the future."

"We have been staying at The Empire 1-2 times per year for 15 years to attend the ballet at Lincoln Center. It is a simple walk across the street to the theater, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. We have always been happy with our room, the staff is excellent and gracious. I highly recommend the hotel."
