"Clean room, staff was okay, could use some updating and for having our 4 year old with us the door system was not great, needs another dead bolt ontop or something cause he could just open the door and walk out but for a few nights its okay"
"I didn't realize I dropped a precious (not expensive) pair of earrings in my room upon check out until I unpacked back at home. I was beside myself as they had immeasurable sentimental value. We call the office and BEHOLD the cleaning staff person had turned them into the office. I am beyond grateful - truly rekindled my faith in kind, honorable people. Not only a wonderful facility...an establishment with integrity. So very appreciative. Nina Shawn Gainor"
"Consistent issues and texted the GM twice as no manager was on duty and got no reply. Had to talk to front desk 3 times and they never tried to solve the problem. No follow up, no follow through and no understanding on how to serve clients"
"No early check in unless IHG member. Was told by staff several times that I couldnt get an early check in "because I booked through expedia". Hotel is fine but wouldn't stay again. Inside feels outdated and seems a little dark/gloomy with gray hallways and one elevator at far end of hotel (opposite far end from check in desk & past many rooms) which felt very uncomfortable walking that far to check in with young children. Ceiling had black marks in cracks but rest was clean. Bathroom is incredibly small and not accommodating for young children or anyone using the bathroom but 1 person at time (literally door position wouldn't let you get in shower without door being shut)"
"Great location. Staff was good except for the owner, he was questioning me about having alcoholic in my cooler at the beach which was not so bad but he explained to me that it had to do with a liquor license issue, as he was explaining that to me I witnessed multiple people drinking alcohol from coolers and a party of approximately 8-10 people making mix drinks out in the open with visible bottles of wine. Talk about feeling singled out, wow!….clean over all but mold in shower."
"PVI’s main attraction is its proximity to the ocean right at its doorstep. Beautiful views and plenty of beach to walk makes it an ideal stay destination in RI.
The amenities are fairly limited prior to late May, as the heated pool isn’t available and the restaurant/bar is closed some days. Still, the beach area and nearby Westerly, Stonington, and Mystic have plenty of charm to make late April and early May worth the stay."
