"As a whole this hotel is ‘okay’. Shabby in some places and the spa is a disappointment with parts not working! Restaurant food lovely but no atmosphere. "

"Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!"

"Great Location. Well Equipped. Spacious. Should be noted that the bedroom on the top floor has steep narrow stairs and not suitable for all. Dust in places. Was woken up by noise from the cafe underneath."
