The room excellent. I will be returning mid December for a few nights and I’m so excited knowing this stay will be just as fantastic!"

"We enjoyed the deep soaking bathtub. Very comfortable and clean. Beds were soft and had an abundance of pillows. The breakfast was fantastic. Good selection, and everything was delicious. Restaurant staff were courteous and attentive. Hotel staff were kind and polite. It felt safe in the hotel. A key card is required to use the elevators. We stayed in an accessible room. The only changes we would recommend would be to also have a microwave in the room in addition to the fridge (which was nice and cold), and that the bathroom could use both some wall hooks and maybe a little table for toiletries. If you’re sensitive to sound, be aware that you do hear city noises, including sirens, and some noise from other rooms. It didn’t bother us. Great location to access Moscone, Yerba Buena, and UCSF. Thanks again, Pickwick Hotel! We will be back!"

"This is a charming, old-fashioned hotel in a perfect location. My room had a view of the Union Square Christmas lights. It is not slick or modern: think of it as European and you will see its charms. The room was comfortable with everything you need. They warn you in advance that there's no air conditioning but most of the time in SF you don't need it, and there's a ceiling fan and the windows can be opened. There is always coffee and cookies available in the lobby and the tiny bar was popular, thanks to a two-for-one coupon for guests. The neighborhood seems to be making a comeback after some rough years. It was a lot cleaner than I remembered, and I went to two great restaurants that were new to the area. "

Within the hotel, at Feinstein's we would particularly like to commend manager, Erik Elo for his graciousness, helpfulness, and consideration when we have dined and been at the shows there. He is a very special person, attentive to so many details.We felt like we were treated like royalty!"
