8/10 Good
"The hotel overall good use a renovation. The staff is very nice and accommodating. It was nice being right by the gondola and the food at the restaurant was delicious. But as for the hotel I felt like I was at a sleep away camp or a hostel. The shower was tiny."

10/10 Excellent
"My family (including a 10-year-old) loved this place! It is a remote, rustic and beautiful location with walking trails on the property. The outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna were a favorite with all! This is not a typical hotel with room service and a bar, etc. but this lodging accommodation makes sense in this location and was preferred by our family. The staff is very helpful. Plan ahead if you need food (as nearest grocery store is maybe 30 minutes away). Restaurants are limited but we all enjoyed the Snorting Elk nearby. This was also a good location for visiting Mount Rainier, which was our reason for coming to the area. Our entire family wants to come back to stay at this lodge again!"

"I had the cabin with no attached bathroom and honestly? It was perfectly fine. I’m a female solo traveler and I didn’t feel unsafe at all. The area was always brightly lit and the bathrooms were clean and maintained. It was so lovely to wake up in a cutesy lil cabin! Immaculate vibes tbh. Also great location in relation to Mt. Rainier NP!"

"Ac was not working at the condo … with kids and at 95 degrees, very uncomfortable to get a restful sleep. The staff was hepful and willing to come take a look at 11pm as to why the AC wasn’t working, But still wasn’t fixed, had to call service person again in the morning and get temporary got it working. The bunk lights weren’t there at all and the service guy who came to look at the AC kindly said he had the bunk lights ordered come and could fix it. The initial room given had wet carpet and we ended up with a different room with all the above issues. The front desk at checkout were polite hearing about the issues but had no record of rhe issues/temporary fixes provided. Good property, helpful polite staff. But having paid for the condo stay and resort fee, expecting a fully functional room is basic!"

"Gateway needs to have a points system, or a frequent stay Rewards Program. We stay there quite a bit and do not get credit. Other than that, for being essentially the only hotel in Enumclaw, it is good. Mark"

"Perfect location to visit the Franklin Ghost Town and Greenwater trails. I did request to change rooms as they do allow dogs and the first room had a definite odor. The front office helped with the change and we're very nice and understanding. Our second room worked out great for our 3 day stay."

"The camping site was clean and well organized and ready when I got there. The site itself is beautiful and centrally located for a bunch of different skiing and recreational activities (I was there for the marathon). I do think there’s some sort of issue with the messaging on Expedia where messages are either not being checked or somehow not being received but other than that it was a positive experience."
