"Clean rooms but some are quite uphill to get to. Very nice forest around and the trails are nice to walk in. The breakfast at Hotel Ficus next door was great. Ver close to shops and restaurants. Will visit again "

"Super cute inn. This place was fantastic. We loved the breakfast - fresh fruit and made to order breakfast. The common area was lovely and allowed our family to play games and hang out in the evenings. We even used the kitchen one night to cook dinner and this was a great option. The staff were super helpful and friendly. "

They made you feel like part of their family, made recommendations of things to do, and were interested in your story. In our two week trip to Costa Rica, this will be a repeat visit. "

"It's a hostel but better than many hotels. We had a big family room and bathroom and the garden was awesome. Having access to the kitchen was great and the breakfast was fantastic. The location couldn't be beat and the staff was so nice. "

"Staff were all so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay… and helpful with any questions we had about the area. They made us feel at home. Coffee and water was always available in dining area and breakfast each morning was lovely - orange juice, fruit, toast and jam with a selection of 4 different breakfasts. Tours could be arranged and shops and restaurants were all close by- lovely relaxing place to stay"

"Our room was at the top of the hill which was a great view, but no soundproofing. It was loud. The towels and the shampoo/body wash were subpar. We had a car so did not have to rely on the shuttle but a shuttle is provided. We did the night walk which was fun but way too long. An hour would have been plenty. "
