Amazing breakfast! Made my teenager jump out of bed in the mornings which is every hard to do. Loved the food. Great atmosphere for families. I just wish the permaculture tour and night tour were more affordable for guests staying there - as we are Canadians and $40 usd per person for our family is a lot.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and a good variety. But the highlight was the staff. They made you feel like part of their family, made recommendations of things to do, and were interested in your story. In our two week trip to Costa Rica, this will be a repeat visit.

We were blown away by this property. The room was cozy and comfortable with a sizable outdoor balcony with the most incredible views. We enjoyed walking in the nature preserve and that we didn’t even have to leave the property to have that experience of being in the cloud forest. We saw all sorts of birds, plus coatis, agoutis, and monkeys! The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the emphasis on farm to table, which you could definitely taste the freshness in the food! Staff was always welcoming and available to answer questions.

The property was beautiful and the hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and fresh. Love the farm to table experience and the food growing throughout the property. The only negative was our safe key didn’t work and wasn’t fixed as requested. Erik went above and beyond to ensure an item we left behind was couriered to our next destination. Thank you. A lovely hotel with a superb location. We were given a room with a view that was absolutely out of this world. Far exceeding my expectations. Clean, large, comfortable room, with a fantastic view from our third floor balcony. Food was wonderful: fresh and flavorful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However the best part was definitely the nature preserve - we loved walking the trails where we saw all kinds of wildlife. Had one amazing half hour where we were surrounded by capuchin monkeys and coatis, climbing, running and playing around us! Incredible.
