What a great location, easy check-in made all the easier with the friendly staff who explained everything. Very nice room clean and comfortable what more could you want. Very happy with our decision to stay at The Royal Oak and will hopefully stay again

Why not!?
Typical UK seaside hotel, decor appeared dated although I think it was done on purpose to match the original building personality because from a freshness and condition point of few it didn’t look as old as the decor suggested. That said, the room was clean warm and tidy and has everything I needed for the stay. It’s a minutes walk from a beach with plenty of bars and restaurants literally just outside. The reception staff were very pleasant and offered to carry the case to the room, which is unheard of in a budget hotel these days in the UK All in all it was good value for the money without any constructive complaints.
