"I was very impressed with the staff across the board, they were helpful at every turn - even making food for us when the kitchen was closed.
They made our stay very enjoyable and would definitely stay in Der Löwe again"
"Das Grünholz Aparthotel is a beautiful hotel in the charming Austrian Alps. The hotel owners and staff are amiable and professional. The hotel feels brand new, and the restaurant is outstanding."
"We loved this hotel! It had a very authentic feel and was located in a beautiful small town. Very clean, had a nice little deck, amazing breakfast and friendly staff. "

"We are a family of four and stayed at the Hotel Max 70 during the European summer heat wave of 2025 (34°C). Thank goodness for the quiet and comfortable air conditioning in the suite!
The double queen bed suite we had was fairly spacious and comfortable. The décor was modern and looked brand new. The fridge was welcome as well as a separate toilet room from the shower room.
The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. English language was welcome. They had a good quality breakfast buffet you can have (best to book the night before to save a few Euro).
The bus into Historic Salzburg was no more than 15 minutes long, with a stop just outside the hotel. We made many trips back and forth over 4 days it was so easy (the hotel will give you a bus pass for your phone, which the bus never checks anyway). We used Google Maps to get bus information.
There is a coin operated washing machine and drywer in the hotel basement which we were glad to use (€8/load and they give you a soap pod).
There are a couple of decent restaurants a couple of blocks away too.

"Six+ stars!!! Cocoon hotel and front desk & dining staff are just wonderful !! The decor is organic boutique on point and aesthetically pleasing !! Love love love the organic theming and all the beautiful plants and terrariums throughout. We always looked forward to and enjoyed the walk from the elevator to our room & vis versa with the peaceful sounds of nature (opps, spoiler alert and if you are a fan of “Severance” def pulling some Sererance vibes, haha in a good way, maybe it’s just me ). Breakfast is amazing full stop; hands down best of our journey; lots of proteins and lighter on the danishes that’s a plus for me and the “Chia parfait” soo delicious! Coffee bar too!! Anyways, fantastically close to the train station making travel easy huge bonus. And if it’s raining they have umbrellas to borrow. Checked all the boxes and then some!! Please open one in the US. "
"Although there's no reception, the check in and check out was seamless and the guests is taken care of through communication via the messages. The nearest Billa supermarket was a plus and the bus stop just infront of the property.
Aircon was not really cooling. Too bad for the scorching heat of Salzburg in July during our stay"
"We both absolutely loved this super cool hotel. Lots of little touches in the room made it feel extra special. All the furnishings are super modern and sleek. I liked the way the bed appeared to float and was illuminated at night to highlight that. The lighting, the bathroom, the hotel, it was all such fun and so well planned and thought out! The bathroom even had a speaker for music.
The food in the rooftop bar was excellent - I had an vegan panna cotta for pudding, which was excellent, and the service was prompt and friendly. The wine was good, the beer was good.
The view from the 360° roof bar was stunning, stretching across Salzburg and its suburbs towards the Alps.
Prices in the bar were fair and the food prices were about right for Salzburg.
My only criticism is: the queue to check in and check out was a little long. Everything else was perfect.
I could have stayed in this lovely hotel a lot longer.
