I appreciate everything from the incredible room with a balcony to the small touches (the owner introducing herself to every guest at breakfast with a small flower and the complimentary late check-out). The staff was very friendly and, as Deborah (owner) had mentioned, many had been with her for 10+ years. I enjoyed using the top-quality toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body gel/lotion). This was important as it set the high-quality standard of the resort. The grounds, tropical plants, and trees set the table for a private, intimate, and enjoyable stay. "From 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. there's live music playing from a restaurant a few doors down. It's rather annoying but once it stops it's pleasant stay. The only other complaint is the noise of the door in adjacent rooms reverberating through the hallway."
