We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. Irene was so accommodating to our needs. Such a gorgeous peaceful place, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect from arriving to sadly when we had to leave. We arrived to a lovely warm and clean lodge. It had little extras like chocolates on the beds and a bowl full of goodies on the kitchen table. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed from dish washer tablets to binoculars for bird watching!! In a beautiful location with a pub in walking distance that served a delicious Sunday roast dinner!

Stayed here 25th till 28th October 2025 with friends. Really beautiful Lodge as soon as we saw it it from parking up the lodge looked homely and when we went inside was even more impressed, we enjoyed our stay nice it was out the way enough so it was quiet but also walkable to a pub/restaurant down the road called the Bell Inn but also about a half an hour from points of interest like cheddar gorge and 40 mins to bath. Would definitely stay here again loved it.

A place to chill

A really nice place to stay. Very quiet and off the beaten track. Found the bed very soft and kept rolling into the middle. Also use the tin opener but it really needs to be replaced. That said, it you’re looking for a place to just break away from it all and unwind I don’t think you could find anywhere better.

Beautiful large in remote surroundings would definitely recommend the local pub in the village. Will definitely stay here again.

O local é muito bonito, calmo e perto de Glastonbury. A casa é muito aconchegante, toda de madeira e com instalações novas. Fiquei com a minha esposa e gostamos muito! Ficam essas sugestões de melhoria para o locatário: 1 - Limpar as teias de aranha do lado de fora da casa, na varanda principaplmente, pois dentro é tudo limpo, mas na chegada cria uma impressão ruim. 2 - Tentar melhorar a Internet se tiver algum provedor melhor na área, pois tem apenas 7Mb/s de Download e 2 Mb/s de Upload, para trabalhar é complicado. 3 - Sentimos falta de uma esponja para limpar a louça. Outra melhoria seriam panelas que não grudam, o que dificulta a limpeza, ainda mais sem espoja. A máquina de lavar louças não tira tudo. De resto tudo ok, recomendo e voltaria a ficar novamente.
