"Full scale gym runs out of the hotel. Very nice staff. Close to metro-minute walk. Grocery store half mile away. Room wasnt super clean. Needed better vacuuming. Pillows flat as hell. Good for the money. Located in industrial area"

"Close to Heroes' Square, underground and trolley / bus lines, it was a gem to find. Apart from the helpful staff and the generally spotless maintenance & look of the hotel & rooms, the range of breakfast buffer offering was simply amazing. Perfect start of the day to load batteries before long walks :) Plus one has to mention that anything that was running low on the frankly vast range of different hot and cold food & drink offerings was magically replenished very regularly, so have to say that many even 4-star hotels completely failed in such seemingly small but key details... So kudos to staff on this aspect, too. I booked a double room with single use and it was superbly spacious, high ceilings, same goes for the breakfast room with sunshine in the morning coming through the large facade windows. The vast green Liget area and lake is nearby, within tens of seconds of walk, so on hot days (we hit some low 40C temperatures even) it was great to finish the day with a stroll there and an Aperol before returning to the hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at Danubius Hotel Helia in Budapest with my family last week. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay enjoyable. We loved the relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and great facilities. It was also a convenient place to stay while exploring Budapest. Overall, we had a great family experience and would definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended for families visiting Budapest!"

"The hotel is located on Margaret Island offering an escape from the city. The property was well maintained. During our stay, I noticed a tile dislodged in one of the Thermal pools. I highlighted this to staff. During the evening, the pool was emptied, the whole area around the dislodged tile was re-tiled, cleaned and refilled by 9am the next morning. Excellent service. The food in the hotel was of good quality and reasonably priced. Spa and outdoor pool were great, however later in the day can get busy. If you go at opening, it’s possible to have the spa area to yourself. Only a few negatives, bottled water isn’t replenished each day, it’s just complimentary on arrival. Tea bags not replenished everyday, however, I’m sure if you ask, they will do this with pleasure. Overall nice stay."

"The property is beautiful and its location is perfect! Walking distance from monuments like Heroes Circle and the oldest Turkish bath in town. We were there for Formula 1 and the drive to Hungaroring was 20 minutes (without traffic)! The front desk staff were also very helpful and booked all of our dinner reservations and taxi rides. I would stay here again and again!"

"We booked a room overlooking the Danube, this was a beautiful view - the whole stay was excellent, the staff were exceptional. There was enough close by and in walking distance to eat and drink. The only downside was there was no local transport close to the hotel but Uber's were cheap enough to get to the city centre (less than £10 per ride)"
