"Check before you go to make sure you do not get Room 5. The room booked is a "Corner Sunset Ocean View Room" and the rate was $498.60 a night prior to fees, for three days those were $220.98 for taxes and fees and $204.00 for an "extra guest" to have 3 people. The room is not on the side facing the sunset and another balcony adjacent to the room protrudes making the sunset visible in only one small area of the balcony at this time of year, at some other times of year it would not be visible. People standing on the other balcony also block the sunset. The balcony is also directly above the outdoor dining area and diners can see the balcony and into the room. The room also has no furniture other than the beds, not a single chair or loveseat. We also had to request a third chair for the balcony despite paying $204 for an "extra guest.""

Specifically, you must book a session with Maria. Her technique is incredible—easily one of the best massages I have ever had. Maria has a gift for finding every bit of tension and melting it away. Combined with the sounds of the jungle is absolutely incredible! Highly recommend Ecotica! "
