"I don't typically really enjoy or even entertain hotel restaurants but this one was truly an exception. We enjoyed every meal we had there and I actually preferred it over any of the other local restaurants, finding it more affordable as well. With our 11m in tow for the first time, we felt quite at home with the high chair available in the restaurant, it made things much easier. The pool was a welcomed respite after a hot and humid day out and about. The staff were all exceptional and the room was clean, cozy, and modern...the AC was fabulous. We also got to see some wildlife; a family of spider monkeys swinging about in the tree tops, an aguti, and an iguana. "

"Absolutely beautiful views from our room and all over the hotel. Great service and staff. Fun pool bar and excellent food. There was some construction going on nearby when we were there but it did not impact our stay or disturb us. "

Birds serenade you in the tropical garden, while sloths lazily hang from branches. The luxurious rooms feature magnificent ocean-view balconies, and there are plenty of pools for relaxation. The main restaurant serves delectable and fresh cuisine. All staffs are friendly and very helpful."

"I loved this place! It was so close to Manuel Antonio National Park and all the beaches. The room was very nice, and I loved the veranda! The shower was powerful and water warm. Check-out was simple and fast and staff were friendly. The pool area was beautiful, but we opted to spend more time at the beaches and only went to the pool once. I would highly recommend Hotel Costa Verde. I just wish I could’ve stayed in an airplane!"

"We stayed at Shana for 6 nights. The staff of the hotel is amazing and very hospitable, they show that they love their jobs (like the back of their t-shirts says). Beginning with the front staff, Kevin and Katherine who were so nice. The bar staff, especially Warner who was super helpful and provided excellent service. The restaurant wait staff, Priscila and Lester were very accommodating and awesome. We met the chefs, Allan and Irwin. Allan came to our table to ask if the food was good, it was delicious. That was very special. Steven at the bar was very nice and Andrey was very nice too. The breakfast staff, Javier, Edgar and Lisandro were very nice and eager to assist with anything we needed. Lastly, Jairo who drives he golf cart was very generous and helpful. Overall, our stay was great mainly because of the wonderful staff and their eagerness to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. I would recommend Shana by the beach as a great place to stay in the Quepos area. "
