"Great family hotel. Kids were able to borrow beach toys and skim boards during our stay. Boogie boards are reserved on a first come first served basis so ask about this to reserve early because boards are limited. We missed out because we didn’t reserve it early enough. Restaurant on site was also very convenient and had a good selection of food. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The restaurant was under renovation. However, we had a great time. The resort is well maintained. We really enjoyed the hot tub facilities and the aquatic sports. My only recommendation is to include an extra chair in the room, when there people are staying."

"Great location across from the beach. The hotel has been modernized and is very nice. It is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We did find there were several quite dirty areas on the carpet that should have been addressed. Also there were a few brown spots in one small area on the tile under the bathroom counter that were out of place on the grey tile. We weren’t sure if these were some kind of stain or some odd colouring of the tile. There were a couple of very small wasp nests in the outdoor light above the balcony which we mentioned to staff. As it was lacking in standard family food, we didn’t eat in the restaurant at all and wound up driving the short distance to Parksville for meals. Other than that we had no complaints and would stay there again."
