"Good location. Helpful staff. Only negitive is checking out, theres 2 elevators and checking out can be difficult if you dont plan ahead. It cant be helped, its just one of things. Apart from that the hotel and staff are awesome."

"We stayed the first night in a very small room that even though was a non smoking room it did have a distinct smell of stale smoke. We spoke with Mohammad on reception and we were upgraded free of charge to a room about 3 times bigger with walk in wardrobe and very spacious bathroom with a great view of some of NYC's iconic landmarks. We were totally blown away by the size and comfort of the room. Special thanks to Mohammad for being so accommodating."

"The location of the hotel was its most valuable feature. Located right in front of Lincoln Center, near Columbus Circle with high end shopping, within 1 block of Central Park, and very near a central train station - Columbus Circle. In general, this is an older hotel. Our room had a VERY small and dated bathroom. The room had poor air circulation as did many areas of the hotel. The AC blew at 65 but the cool air did not move around the room. The staff was excellent. Our room was cleaned daily; every day we returned from our long, hot, subway adventures to a clean room. The on-site roof top restaurant was nice as well. Despite its dated rooms, I would consider staying here again for the great location."

"I’ve had read tons of bad reviews (works on progress, hours waiting for an elevator, rude staff, dirty rooms, terrible breakfast…). This is not the Ritz Carlton! But for a short NY stay it was worth every $ spent. The breakfast was ok, some bread, bananas and oranges and a selection of sugared cereals. I always went early to the restaurant so I didn’t experience any trouble with it being crowded; I also never had any problem with the elevators. And as for the staff being rude, not at all!! All the contrary, from Ms. Christina (I hope I remember well her name) at the reception at 6am to the Dominican young man at the luggage store place to the cleaning lady, everyone was kind and very helpful "
