"The property is very simple but had everything we needed. We loved being able to see the ocean and the mountains. The private pool was perfect for cooling off in. The restaurant on-site met all our needs. We would have liked to have stayed longer!"

"Very good service and people. Unique experience of community and food. Accomodation was exactly like a living in a village hut but with basic ammenities available like light, fan and hot water. Just 15 mins ride from Sekumpul waterfall. The owner helped arrange 2 wheeler for us to go to the waterfall. This place is perfect for travellers with 2 wheelers but roads are narrow for 4 wheelers so be prepared if you are taking one."

"Great view on Batur Lake. Good clean rooms in silent place. Normal breakfasts but still simple. The parking place is a little bit outside and need to go on staircases quiet long. Better not to go on big bike till the end (Nmax) because it's really hard to turn back and need to go with reverse way on breaks for long time). "

The staff are super friendly/ humble and go above and beyond to meet all your needs. "This property and the staff were absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't have wished for a better start to my stay in Bali. I stayed here for 3 nights and had a hill view room with lovely views, granted that I had to be ready to face monkeys as they did come and walk along it, hang off chairs etc. Be mindful to keep food out of sight. The ambience at this hotel is chilled, calm and helps you to immerse in the culture. I loved it and would stay again. The hotel sent me a tray of desserts expressing with a card wishing me well after I sustained an injury on an excursion. Such care. Also the food here was out of this world. "
