Excellent place to lay down and relax. It is quiet, mainly for honeymooners and adults. The place is clean and comfortable. Food is excellent and the staffs are very friendly. The pool-bartenders are great. I highly recommend this hotel.

my overall experience was good, the room was really nice, and clean, the ac was ok not great it took a whole day to drop the temperature to only 71, the restaurants and bars were good to, but i have to said we enjoy more the service and the food at the Catalonia bayahibe the family side of the hotel, you could have better attention from the staff, but that does not mean that at royal the service were bad absolutely no. in general i have a really good time, i would go again

Hotel website lacked information when we were booked (i.e. early check-in, room amenities, entertainment)and messages to hotel were not answered. Room was very nice and well attended. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, very well maintained. The landscape is amazing. It is a pleasure to walk around and see the variety of plants and vegetation. The only disappointment is the quality of the food. While it was ok in the buffets, jusk ok - the "specialty" restaurant were extremely mediocre. A great place like this should be proud of their food and restaurants. We spoke to other guests and they all agreed the food and quality in the restaurants could be much better to make this an unbelievable resort
