"The Elliott is a beautifully restored 100 year old hotel. We stayed in a suite that was roomy and quite nice while being affordable. The included breakfast was minimal. We will certainly stay here next time we’re in Astoria. "
"We stayed in their annex building in a studio king room. The room was newly decorated and beautiful with the sunlight. They gave us a generous amount of coffee for the coffee maker, which is a Keurig. It was an easy walk to the water area and great restaurants nearby the bakery called the scorcher bakery is fantastic. Go for breakfast. Our studio was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff made everything easy."
Lloyd Hotel Astoria Bayfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"When I first checked in reception was really nice. The amenities were clean.
It was nice to have a few bottles of water that were available at no charge.
Cookies and chowder awesome.
Breakfast was decent and it was always clean.
I will be coming back at this location with my girlfriend."
"This hotel had a great location and the view was wonderful, but it feels like a struggling business that has lost the desire/ability to take care of itself. The room was not really clean, and it felt like a long term issue. Mirrors had not been wiped, some mold in the trash can, and the room had that feel where you don’t want to walk around barefoot. Had a question two days before our arrival and sent an email that was never answered. Called with no answer and no way to leave a message. Called again the day before and the phone just rang again during common business hours. The room was fine, but basic cleaning and being responsive are basic expectations. Subjective, but the staff seemed to not care, which for me is always a management issue. Price for location and view was good."
