"Check-in was efficient and professional. Room, although small, was clean yet well-organized. Free parking was available and proximal. Staff were all congenial. Shower cabins were spacious. One quibble: my room window did not properly latch, so could be opened from the outside, theoretically. But overall an excellent property and staff."

"room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. tv is a hospital-style monitor, but has a dvd player built in and they have an assortment on a shelf in the lobby you can watch. sound travels in this old building, so you’re able to hear neighbors above you and on your floor walking around and using the showers/bathroom. they do provide earplugs in the room, but if you’re sensitive to this, it may not be for you. otherwise, the shared bathrooms/showers were clean and stocked. there was free coffee/tea 24/7 in the lobby, however we were unable to figure out where the morning coffee mentioned in the room notes was located (different than the lobby coffee). parking was not an issue, even during the farmer’s market on sunday. the hotel is in walking distance of pretty much everything you could want to do!"

"The only problem is the same problem most places in Astoria have, traffic noise until late and it starts again early. Most rooms have a quieter room away from the road and a noisier room in front, so you can adjust things to figure out your best assignments. "

"The Elliott is a beautifully restored 100 year old hotel. We stayed in a suite that was roomy and quite nice while being affordable. The included breakfast was minimal. We will certainly stay here next time we’re in Astoria. "
