"Free breakfast. Not bad. I stayed four days. No one ever came to clean my room. They never mentioned that it was only buy calling them. Or maybe they don’t do it at all when we stay there. Idk! The fitness room had no ac. Staff was nice. But they never had the time to find someone to fix the tv, tv wasn’t connected right. "
"Probably the worst hotel I’ve EVER stayed in. Galway’s smelled of fresh pet urine to a point where you will want to throw up due to amount of ammonia in air. Blood and human hair on toilet. Toenail clippings next to bed on floor. Roaches"
"I have stayed here before and never had a problem. However this time I came back to my room one evening to find water on the floor right inside the door. I called the manager and in a few minutes one of the staff came by to mop it up. He explained that he had been pressure washing outside and it must have blown in. When he left I noticed there was still a small area wet. At the time I was involved doing something else and had the door open. (This allowed me to see the spot clearly from inside the room) I did not bother to call the manager and was planning to finish getting it up myself. When I was sitting there the manager came by and asked if it had been taken care of. When I told him there was a small spot left he looked and said there was nothing there. He was standing outside it it was more difficult to see. When I pointed it out to him he rolled his eyes and exclaimed O my God. He came back a few minutes later with a bath math and used his foot to dab up the spot. He kicked the mat up against the wall when he finished. He then made a couple of snide remarks including you weren't going to die. He then told me to close my door. At that time the air conditioner was not running so it was not an issue for my door being open since I was working out of the back of my truck which was parked right in front of the door. As he left he closed the door himself. I did not want this and was not necessary as the air conditioner was not on. Poor customer service!"
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus/Near Fort Benning
8/10 Good
"Friendly staff. Hotel under construction so that was an inconvenience. Pool not maintained well.
The breakfast was not a great experience. Nothing hot except pancakes. No hot eggs, meat, potatoes either. That was disappointing."
"Staff asked if we would like the room cleaned and refreshed in between nights. We said yes. It was not done. When we mentioned this at check out nothing was offered other than a “sorry”. It would have been very nice to have fresh towels!!
Had to call for maintenance on the shower.
Mattress was very comfortable!"
