The pool was lovely and clean and we were able to find parking for our rental car. I would have booked this hotel again on our return to Heraklion, but it was full and we couldn't get a reservation. "Beautiful surroundings, friendly and professional staff, and delicious food. The local cats were a wonderful surprise and also super friendly. There were numerous activites at the resort and a convenient bus to the beach area. Beach Comber at Stallis beach was beautiful, relatively quiet, served excellent cocktails and amazing food. My only critics of Village Heights were:
1. What is/is not included in half board is not well explained at time of booking - I only found out this information on day 2.
2. The power cut out multiple times daily. Only for a few seconds, so it never caused an issue, but it was slightly worrying.
3. The sign at the cats feeding station states they are neutered, but they are not; kittens ahoy! "
