"Had a (small) room but with a balcony on the front. Unfortunately our neighbors smoked (cigs and weed) so at those times we had to close the balcony doors. I wanted to stay at the hotel because of its history, name and art deco decor. For $500 a night it was okay, nothing extraordinary or special. Wish the room would have been a little more spacious for the price paid. The staff was friendly and helpful. It did surprise me that the hotel did not offer the eco friendly option of not changing the towels. For just a two night stay we would have preferred to reuse our towels."

"Very close to the central train station, this was a very walkable hub for our trip. It’s outside of the major touristy areas, so it’s still very quiet at night. The hotel features an indoor pool, sauna, hot tubs and steam rooms for guests. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. A great hotel for those staying in Amsterdam"

"Great location right on the canal, with helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of options. The bar doesn't stay open very late, but there are many places nearby. We were told a day ahead that our bed request couldn't be accommodated, which we thought probably meant a standard/double instead of king or queen. What we got were little twins that reminded me of my childhood bedroom. Which were comfortable but not ideal as a couple. Still, would stay here again based on everything else."

"This hotel is a must for anyone visiting Amsterdam! The location is ideal near the Leidseplein ( 1 block) right on several tram lines and a 5 minute walk from the Risksmuseum. The bloom market is three blocks away. The staff was wonderfully helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The coffee lounge was clean and welcoming with afternoon pastries. Just outside was a stop for evening canal boat rides. I wholeheartedly give this an excellent rating."

"Perfect Location in the Heart of Amsterdam ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Hotel Estheréa was wonderful from start to finish. The location is truly unbeatable—situated along a beautiful canal and within walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s top attractions, restaurants, shops, and museums. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city. The hotel itself is charming, elegant, and impeccably maintained. The décor is uniquely Dutch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor drawback was the breakfast price, which felt somewhat expensive compared with the many excellent breakfast options available nearby. That said, the quality and selection were very good. Overall, Hotel Estheréa offers an exceptional Amsterdam experience, combining outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and a truly perfect location. We would gladly stay here again on a future visit. 🇳🇱✨🏨"
